This Privacy Policy describes how Twine: Couples Questions Game ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use our iOS application ("App").
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
We do not require you to create an account. The App works fully without registration. Custom sessions you create (including AI sessions you choose to save) are stored locally on your device only, except for the limited data sent when you use AI Session as described in Section 4.
Automatically Collected Information
We do not collect personal data directly for analytics or advertising. Third-party services used in the App may process limited technical data as described below.
2. Purchases & Subscriptions
Twine offers in-app purchases including:
- Auto-renewable subscriptions (Annual, Monthly)
- One-time lifetime purchase
All purchases are processed by Apple App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. Apple's Privacy Policy: apple.com/legal/privacy
To cancel a subscription:
iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Twine → Cancel
We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat may collect a random anonymous user identifier, purchase status, app version and device OS version. RevenueCat does not collect your name, email, or payment information.

3. Push Notifications
If you grant permission, we may send local push notifications as reminders. These are scheduled locally on your device and do not transmit personal data to external servers.
Disable at any time: iOS Settings → Notifications → Twine
4. AI Session Generation (Pro)
If you use AI Session (a Pro feature), the App sends your chosen topic, tone, question count, app language, and an anonymous user identifier to our secure proxy hosted on Cloudflare Workers. The proxy calls an AI provider (OpenAI) to generate question prompts for your session.
We do not permanently store your topics or generated questions on our servers. Generated sessions you choose to save remain on your device only.
AI-generated questions may vary and are provided for entertainment and conversation purposes only.

We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or social media trackers.
6. Data Storage
Custom sessions, saved AI sessions, and preferences are stored locally on your device. This local data is permanently deleted when you uninstall the App. Transient AI generation requests are processed as described in Section 4 and are not kept as a long-term archive on our servers.
7. Children's Privacy
Certain session categories contain mature content intended for adults (17+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 17.
8. Your Rights (GDPR — EU/EEA Users)
If you are located in the EU or EEA, you have the right to access, delete, or object to processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Data Retention
We do not retain personal data in a long-term server database. Local device data is retained until you uninstall the App. AI requests are handled for generation and are not stored by us as lasting user content.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects any changes. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
